One valley, four kinds of light.

The Mendenhall Valley from our own flights, across the year. Same glacier, same forest; the light is what changes, and planning for it is most of the work.

Why hire photographers instead of just a pilot?

Anyone can put a camera in the sky. What you pay for is the frame: the horizon, the light and the one angle that answers the question your viewer is asking.

How fast do I get the photos?

Edited stills in about 48 hours from the flight. Rush delivery is available.

How many photos will I get?

It depends on the job, and we say so up front. A listing set, for example, is 12 to 20 edited stills.

Do you fly in winter?

All year. Low sun, snow and short days make some of our favorite pictures, as long as the wind cooperates.

Who owns the photos?

You get a license for what we agreed, like your website and marketing. We keep the copyright, and extending the license is quick and fair.
