FeaturesMeasure & Optimize

Sharp photos. Small files. Zero effort.

Upload a photo straight from your camera or phone and it is resized, compressed and converted to modern formats before anyone sees it. Your pages load faster, your photos still look like your photos, and nobody has to remember to do it.

Before and after

Drag the line. Spot the difference.

One of our own drone photos of Amalga Harbor, straight off the camera. The left side is the original quality; the right is the version your visitors actually download. Every number here was measured from this photo on our server.

What you get

Install it once and forget it is there.

Optimization runs on our servers as each image is uploaded, and once in bulk for everything already in your media library.

Smart compression

Several rounds of compression tuned to each photo, so it looks the same to the eye and weighs a fraction as much.

WebP and AVIF

Modern formats that are far smaller than JPEG and PNG, served only to browsers that can show them. Older browsers still get a JPEG.

Right-sized copies

Every size your design needs, from phone thumbnails to full-width heroes, so no visitor downloads more pixels than their screen shows.

Location data removed

Camera and GPS details are stripped on upload, so a photo of your home or job site never gives away where it was taken.

Your whole library

A one-time bulk pass optimizes the images you already have. Originals are kept, so we can always go back.

Nobody has to remember

Staff, editors and clients can upload whatever their camera makes. The site takes care of the rest.

Why it matters

Images are most of the weight on most web pages.

Slimmer images are the single biggest speed win for most sites, and speed is something both visitors and search engines notice.

Speed

Faster pages on every connection.

A modern phone photo is often several megabytes. On a rural connection or a ferry, that is the difference between a page that appears and a visitor who gives up. Optimized images arrive in a fraction of the time.

  • Less data for visitors on mobile plans
  • Better Core Web Vitals scores
  • Lazy loading for images below the fold

Quality

Compressed, but still your photo.

We are photographers too, so quality comes first. Compression is tuned so colors, gradients in the sky and fine detail hold up on large retina screens.

  • Gentle compression for portfolios
  • Stronger settings for blogs and stores
  • Originals kept on the server

Privacy

Your photos stop telling strangers where you live.

Most cameras and phones write the exact GPS location, date and device into every photo. We remove that hidden data automatically, which protects homes, job sites and the people in your pictures.

  • GPS coordinates removed
  • Camera serial numbers removed
  • Copyright and credits kept if you want them

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Anything else? Call (424) 209-8199 and you’ll talk to the people who build it.

Will my photos look worse?

Not to the eye. Compression is tuned per image, and we use gentler settings for portfolios and photography sites. Your originals are kept, so we can re-process anything you are not happy with.

What happens in browsers that don’t support WebP or AVIF?

They get a regular optimized JPEG or PNG. Each visitor’s browser tells the server what it can show, and it gets the smallest version it understands.

Do I need to resize photos before I upload them?

No. Upload them straight from the camera or phone. The site makes every size it needs and serves the right one for each screen.

Can I keep my copyright information in the files?

Yes. We remove location and device data by default, and can keep copyright and credit fields if you want them in your files.

Is it included with hosting?

It is part of our managed hosting setup. If your site is hosted somewhere else, talk to us and we will tell you what it would take.
